Feenix Polish – Twigs

Happy Sunday! I hope you have an amazingly wonderful day planned.

Hey, do you watch The Amazing Race? Two gals from the Derby team I used to skate for (Rocky Mountain Rollergirls) are on it this season! Go Team Red! Beth and Mona (aka Fiona Grapple & Triple Shot Misto) are amazing skaters and ladies and I am so excited to see how they do!

Anyway, today I would like to show you a Feenix Polish I bought some time ago but only wore in the past month or so. Twigs is an olive polish with a green-gold shimmer. It looked amazing online so I bought 2 – 1 for me and 1 as a gift!

The description on Etsy called it a sheer polish…but I did not have that experience. It was thick and hard to work with, and sorta streaky as you can see. I also feel like the amazing shimmer in the bottle did not translate as well on the nail.

I was so excited to try this, but super disappointed. I have one other Feenix Polish that I purchased and have yet to try; I hope it is not disappointing also!

Feenix Polishes are $8 and sold on Etsy. Have you used this brand? What is your experience?

Thanks so much for reading!

  1. Wow, that’s definitely not sheer! I wonder if it’d be more manageable with a hit of thinner in there. Definitely like the khaki/olive shade, and I think it’s definitely shimmery! Maybe not as much as the bottle suggests, but I wonder if some of the shimmer’s being swallowed by the thickness?

Love the colour and the golden shimmer, even if it was thicker than expected. This is a new brand to me, so I’ll be looking forward to your other swatch!
