I love Chanel lacquers. I have had a few over the years, and usually am not disappointed. This one, I kind of am.
I think Beige came out in the spring or summer 2012. It is a gorgeous, classy beige shade, with a pink shimmer. The reason I was disappointed is the pink does not show up on the nail as much as the bottle. Some people like that aspect; I wish it was more prominent. I still like it, but there you go :) I did 2 coats which can be a bit thick on some…2 coats was nice with a little VNL – but more subtle.
Flash (see the rad shimmer in the bottle?).
No flash.
Still timeless and elegant, as all Chanel is, but not quite what I had hoped.

It’s so classy even if you can’t see the pink shimmer on the nails! I’ll have to get some more Chanels myself, I only own one :)
You’re right it is so pretty with the pink shimmer in the first pic, but you can’t see it on your nails at all. Don’t you hate it when a polish dries differently than it looks in the bottle? It is still pretty on you though and definitely a must have color as it is such a classic.
A little yellow for me, but still pretty!
